2025 Activities and costs

Activities & Costs
MTB Guisborough offers activities during term time from April to November.
We organise activities in blocks corresponding to each half term, riders sign up and pay for a block of activities at a time.

The session fee is £5 per ride (paid in blocks – see below). MTB Guisborough is a non-profit community organisation staffed 100% by volunteers, the ride fee enables us to sustain our activities through paying for the costs we incur in delivering them e.g. leader and coach training, insurance, essential equipment etc.

Please note: We are unable to provide refunds if riders miss sessions so please ensure you are committed to attending the sessions before you register.
Blocks open for booking approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of first session, priority will be given to existing riders to ensure continuity and enable skills progression.

Join the club

Riders do not have to be club members to join the sessions but membership is encouraged as it helps support the club - it also provides a host of benefits including discounts at local bike shops and the opportunity to purchase exclusive club kit.

Weather & Cancellation

We ride in most weather conditions – rain doesn’t stop play!
Riders must have proper gear e.g. a rain jacket if it’s forecast to rain - or participation may be refused.

Rides are very occasionally cancelled due to extreme weather if it's unsafe for us to be in the forest - typically ice, snow, very strong winds or thunderstorms.

Want to get involved?

The club is run by volunteers and we’re always looking for good people to get involved. If you’re a keen rider yourself and interested in helping out or even completing a coaching or leading qualification then please get in touch. ([email protected]).

Please note: all potential volunteers will be required to undertake an enhanced CRB check (organised by club).
